TEN MISCONSEPTIONS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT NAUTILUS PHOTOGRAPHY:

1. YOU MUST SPEND THOUSANDS ON YOUR PORTRAITS!

FALSE. Although all of our clients love their photographs, all spend within their limits with no obligations.

2. WE CHARGE EXTRA FOR EVERYTHING.

NOT TRUE. Our finest retouching is included with every session you choose. If more retouching is necessary we won’t even mention it.

3. WE’RE EXPENSIVE.
Our print and package prices are highly competitive with other studios. Session fees includes the extra care and attention that you won't get at any other studio, retouching, and a day of fun!

4. YOU HAVE TO BUY YOUR SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS.

WRONG. Some schools require your yearbook photo be taken by the school photographer. For schools which allow, we will submit your yearbook photo for you at no charge. We’re more than happy to include your tux or drape photograph for your own personal use or for your yearbook, included with your session.

5. YOU HAVE TO BE A SIZE 4.
FALSE. We try and make everyone look their best and want everyone to feel comfortable with themselves. We will bring out your best features, such as hair or eyes.

6. SOME PHOTOS LOOK KIND OF REVEALING, DO I HAVE TO DO THAT?

OF COURSE NOT!! We want you to be yourself. Some people are more conservative, others want to be treated as a super model. We just want you to be happy being you.

7. YOU HAVE TO SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT MONTHS IN ADVANCE.
NOT NECESSARILY. It may be a good idea. Weekends and certain times of the year get booked quickly, but we can always find a time that is suitable for you with a week or two notice.

8. NAUTILUS PHOTOS ALL LOOK THE SAME.

NOT TRUE. We have a wide range of studio backdrops and props. Along with a never ending selection of beautiful locations outside of our studio, and many more locations off site.

9. YOU WON’T HAVE ANY FUN.

NO WAY! The more fun you're having the more comfortable you’ll be. With the combination of awesome personalities, it would be hard not to have fun.

10. YOU’RE JUST ANOTHER SENIOR.

ABSOLUTLEY NOT. We at Nautilus, treat every senior with respect and individuality. It’s your day, we tend to you. We want you to cherish and remember this day forever.
